Representative Coaches Announced – Trials Still Open

North Otago Basketball would like to acknowledge and thank the coaches who have stepped forward to lead our representative teams for the upcoming season. Their commitment to developing our young athletes and giving back to the game is hugely appreciated.

We are pleased to confirm the following coaches so far for the 2026 representative season:

Under 16 Boys will be coached by Ian Cathcart.
Under 16 Girls will be coached by Liam Direen.
Under 18 Boys will be coached by Jacob Fowler.

Coaching for the Under 18 Girls team is still to be confirmed. If you are interested in being involved in this role, we would love to hear from you. Please complete the expression of interest form by clicking the button below.

With the representative season approaching quickly, this is also a reminder that player trials are coming up. If you or your child has not yet registered for trials, there is still time to do so. Trials are open to all eligible players and are the first step in being considered for selection in our representative teams.

We encourage all interested players to get registered and be part of what promises to be an exciting rep season. A big thank you again to our coaches for putting their hands up and supporting basketball in North Otago.
